FERRY is an installation artist, musician, producer, and collaborator. Her commissions range from collaborative performances with various art makers to large-scale installations such as Sky Kave for Singapore International Festival or Arts (2018). As a new work, it was very well received and was presented at Reflections Festival (Oct 2018) and Light to Night Festival (Jan 2019).
Her latest collaborations delve into storytelling and theatre with co-devised pieces O/Aural Waves with Kamini Ramachandran (Oct 2019) and Songs of Tau for Project Utopia – The Theatre Practice (Aug 2019). FERRY is currently an associate artist with The Theatre Practice and will be pursuing her Masters in Pedagogy & Practice (Goldsmith’s, University of London – Laselle 2020).
With roots in graphic design, music, art and now with the pursuit of teaching and theatre, FERRY’s edge is in the tools she has accumulated. The collision of forms enable her to work, devise and combine in a truly multi-hyphenated way, by utilising all these different methodologies fluently.
Focusing on developing good ideas and stories regardless of the form, this creative producer hopes to develop and grow her vision to devise pieces that challenge and change perspectives, especially those surrounding social issues.
